ING with application for iPhone'a

Application „ING BankMobile” was written with a view to possibilities offered by the iOS system. – Today, the most innovative programs are created for mobile platforms, that’s why while preparing application „ING BankMobile” we were thinking first of all about the habits of modern smarphone users – says Szymon Mitoraj, Director of the Internet and Mobile Banking Department in ING.

The application is distinguished by a visual indicator that allows you to know the state of your funds without having to log into the system. – Graphical resource level indicator is a novel solution. It visually informs the user about the current balance, but does not provide numerical values. The user defines in the application the maximum level of funds given by the indicator, thanks to which only he knows what the actual balance of his account is – says Szymon Mitoraj. For example, if the user sets the maximum level of the indicator in the application at PLN 1000, and the current balance on his account is PLN 500, the indicator will show the level of 50%.

In the coming months, ING Bank Śląski plans to launch a dedicated application for iPad and Android devices.
